Reunion
Reunion Time is Here!
We are now only one day away from the start of the reunion! Hang on tight because this last (rather long) update has all the info we think you need to attend the events.
If you have any questions, check the links for each event to see if we’ve posted any updates to the website. If not, email your question to contact@hrhs1999.com. We’ll respond asap and update the website so that everyone else knows too.
You can still register!
As a reunion committee, we want everyone to feel welcome and included. If you are on the fence about coming, we hope you’ll seriously consider attending. Most of us on the committee had not talked to each other in 20 years and we’ve been discussing how much everyone has had things happen in that time that make us feel vulnerable in coming back together. If you have concerns, reach out to any of us and we’ll be happy to meet up with you at any event to make sure you feel comfortable.
If you haven’t registered but still want to join us, registration for the free events and the field day are still open. You can register up until each event starts or just show up to the free events.
As mentioned previously, we had to submit our headcount for the banquet last weekend so we can no longer accommodate additional guests. However, we have started a waitlist in case those who registered end up being unable to attend.
Welcome Mingler (Fri)
ADULTS ONLY
Location: LODO’s Bar and Grill, 8545 S Quebec St, Highlands Ranch, CO 80130
Time: 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Dress Code: Casual
Lodo’s has a large upstairs area with rooftop patio access. Head there and look for the balloons to find us and grab a name tag. If you are a classmate, add an HRHS logo sticker to your name tag to distinguish classmates from significant others or other guests.
We will be mixing with the normal bar patrons so look for name tags to determine who is in our group. The event formally starts at 7:00 p.m. but you are welcome to show up earlier as the bar is open. Several of the committee members will be there before to save space. Say hi when you arrive.
HRHS Tour (Sat)

Time: 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Meet outside the building at the student entrance – near the theater and gym with the larger parking lot. We will split up into smaller groups and several members of the current Student Government will be on hand to show us how the school has changed. Once your tour is over, head down to Falcon Park for Field Day.
Field Day (Sat)
FAMILY FRIENDLY
Location: Falcon Park, 9555 Fall Brooke Dr, Highlands Ranch, CO 80126
Time: 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Dress Code: Outdoor casual or athletic
Bring: Side dish or dessert to share. Sun block.
BYOB: Non-alcoholic. Alcoholic, if you like
Don’t Bring: GLASS!
Meet at the covered pavilions and be sure to bring a side dish or dessert to share. Burgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs, buns, plates, utensils, condiments, and water will be provided.
Definitely bring sunblock and non-alcoholic beverages to stay hydrated in the hot sun. Feel free to bring alcoholic beverages but remember that this is the family friendly event so please keep track of any alcohol you bring. PLEASE DO NOT BRING GLASS SO THAT WE DO NOT HAVE AN ISSUE WITH OUR PERMIT!
We will have games for both adults and kids and some fun prizes for the kids. Jump into any game or bring any games you think would be fun. Of course, there’s no pressure to be athletic and some of us will be chatting in the shade.
Feel free to bring camp chairs, blankets, umbrellas and remember your sun block!
Tropical Themed Banquet (Sat)
ADULTS ONLY
Location: Lone Tree Golf Club, 9808 Sunningdale Blvd, Lone Tree, CO 80124
Time: 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Dress Code: Nice/business casual, tropical themed if so inspired
If you registered and cannot attend, please email contact@hrhs1999.com or let one of the committee members know so that we can release space to the waitlist.
If you have not registered, join the waitlist. We’ll let you know by 4:00 p.m. on Saturday if a ticket becomes available. Otherwise, see Alternative/After Party information below.
Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Lone Tree Golf Club will be checking IDs so be sure to bring yours and then check-in to get your name tags.
We know many people like to be fashionably late but be aware that there is a game with prizes and you’ll have a leg up on the competition if you arrive earlier. We are also planning to start our programming around 6:45 or 7:00.
Please do not stress about the dress code. The intention of choosing a tropical theme was to ensure that it wasn’t a stuffy affair. There will definitely be men in gaudy, colorful shirts and women in flower print dresses so you’ll fit in if you are inspired by the theme. If not, there is no pressure to go tropical with your attire and we’ll have leis and necklaces on hand if you want to add an accent. We’re guessing many people will try to look nice since they haven’t seen people in 20 years but we want everyone to fit in from fancy cocktail attire to t-shirt and jeans. Come dressed in whatever makes you feel good.
We will have two cash bars so grab a drink when you arrive if you are so inclined. The food, a mix of heavy hors d’oeuvres, will be served in waves from 6:30 to 8:15 so don’t worry about the earliest people eating up all the food.
The venue flows between two rooms and an outdoor patio so if you want to break away from any programming to catch up with old friends, feel free to spread out.
The venue is available to us through 10:00pm but we’ll start to have people head to the after party around 9:00pm. There is a free shuttle in Lone Tree that will take us there in groups of 6. We ask as many people as possible to download the free Lone Tree Link app (http://www.lonetreelink.com) before the event. That way groups can organize together in the last hour to head over. It only runs until 10:00pm so the last groups will have to grab an Uber or Lyft to get there. Please stay safe and don’t drink and drive.
Alternative Dinner and After Party (Sat)
ADULTS ONLY
Location: Fox and Hound, 9239 Park Meadows Dr, Lone Tree, CO 80124
Time: 8:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.
Dress Code: Casual
We will try to connect everyone on the waitlist who doesn’t end up getting a ticket to the banquet. We encourage you to grab dinner together at the Fox and Hound and get the after party started.
As soon as things start wrapping up at the banquet, we will join you. Then everyone will be together at the Fox and Hound. We can continue chatting and drinking until people decide to head off.
The Robusto Room and Reeds Southside Tavern are within walking distance and also open until 2:00 a.m. You are welcome to head there if you want to break off for smaller conversations or alternative drink options.
Relax & Reminisce Day (Sun)
FAMILY FRIENDLY
Location: Breckenridge Brewery, 2990 Brewery Lane, Littleton, CO 80120
Time: 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Dress Code: Outdoor casual
Meet at the picnic tables in the large outdoor beer garden. We’ll have an HRHS sign at one of the tables. Grab a name tag so we can distinguish our group from the other patrons.
Breckenridge Brewery has lots of delicious craft beers and other alcoholic beverages if beer is not your thing. They also have food trucks and a farm house restaurant on site if you get hungry. They also have corn hole, bocce, and giant Jenga if you didn’t get enough games at field day.
You just need to bring sunblock! Have we mentioned that too many times. We’ll enjoy the gorgeous Colorado weather until people have to start departing.
